Wood is a raw material that forces the hand to follow with humility the way it leads you to.

Working with wood is feeling its strength, its weaknesses, the shapes and energy already contained in it, using the imperfections of it, and adapting the hand to every directions the material imposes. I could compare this to a deep communion of its energy with mine and this collaboration give birth to a new form, a new emotion made of the spirit of nature and my deep feelings.

 These sculptures are made from different blocks of hand-sculpted wood stacked together, creating a balanced structure that illustrate strength as much as fragility.
